Game On: The Senate Electoral Tribunal Sports Festival, held on September 12, 19, and 26, 2024, successfully promoted both mental and physical wellness through a variety of sports events. The activity, organized based on the suggestion of the Tribunal Members, featured a combination of competitive and non-competitive events that were open to participants of all skill levels. The focus was on fostering teamwork, strategy, and personal well-being, creating an inclusive environment for all participants.

The events included table tennis, bowling, and badminton, each held on separate Thursdays and designed to engage both body and mind. On September 12, table tennis challenged players’ concentration and reflexes. On September 19, badminton, with its fast-paced nature, encouraged teamwork and contributed to improving agility and cardiovascular health. Finally, on September 26, bowling offered a more relaxed setting for friendly competition.

Over the course of three half-day sessions, the sports festival effectively blended physical activity with relaxation. It demonstrated the potential of sports to improve mental health, promote physical fitness, and strengthen interpersonal connections. Whether driven by competition or enjoyment, the event met its goal of supporting participants’ mental and physical well-being.
