In recognition of the quality, timeliness and accuracy of the Senate Electoral Tribunal’s FY 2013 Financial Reports, the Commission On Audit (COA) declared SET as one of the Outstanding Government Accounting Offices for 2014. The awarding rites took place at the Opening Ceremonies of the Association of Government Accountants of the Philippines (AGAP), Inc. Convention – Seminar held at the CAP-John Hay Trade and Cultural Center, Baguio City, on October 21 – 24, 2014.
Ms. Angelina L. Gabat, SET Accounting Service Officer-in-Charge, and Mr. Jose Narico M. Catindig, SLSO II of Accounting Service, who participated in the convention-seminar, received the plaque of recognition in behalf of the Senate Electoral Tribunal (SET).
SET has been chosen by COA as one of the Outstanding Government Accounting Offices in the Philippines thrice: in 2010, 2012 and 2013. The theme of this year’s convention is “Preparing for the Unexpected: The Financial Implication of Disaster Management.”
