PRIVACY POLICY FOR JOB APPLICANTS

It is understood that by using the Senate Electoral Tribunal Recruitment Portal, the user/applicant voluntarily submits personal information, consents to the collection and processing of the same, and agrees to grant the Tribunal authority to validate the contents thereof for the purpose of undergoing the Tribunal's selection and placement process.

Personal data provided through the website shall be presumed to be true and correct according to the best of the applicant's knowledge and belief. Further, any false representation made may serve as a ground for disqualification from employment in the Tribunal or revocation of appointment as employee of the Tribunal, and may subject the applicant to an administrative case and/or criminal prosecution for perjury.

Pursuant to applicable laws, including the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173), personal information submitted by the applicant shall be treated with utmost confidentiality and stored in the Tribunal's database until necessary for the purposes stated herein. Moreover, the same shall not be disclosed to third parties not privy to the Tribunal selection and placement process, unless permitted by law or ordered by court or other competent authority.

The applicant has rights under the Data Privacy Act of 2012, such as but not limited to, reasonable access to submitted personal information, correction thereof, and the right to complain before the National Privacy Commission.
